Delivery can be to any UK or Ireland address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods. When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery area will need to be selected. You will always be able to see the postage charge before submitting your order.

Pallet delivery charges start from £39.99, depending on pallet size and delivery location. Please use the contact us page and please ensure you supply a telephone number with your order to arrange a callback regarding prices and delivery dates.
You will only pay one overall delivery charge per order, which will be the highest charge depending on the total weight content of your order. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will need to be selected to add the appropriate tariff to your order total. Delivery charges for large items such as large bale animal bedding, large bale horse feeds and large bags of animal feeds are charged at approximately £4.99 per item.
How long Does Delivery Take?
Our standard delivery service is to any UK mainland address, which takes an estimated 3-5 working days to arrive. With special orders taking longer but you will be notified of this, if this is the case. Please note these are estimated time-scales and deliveries to remote island / offshore postcodes and pallet deliveries may take longer. Delivery dates do not include public holidays and weekends. Deliveries may arrive in separate parcels. If items are out of stock you will be notified of this. Express delivery is also available – please contact us if you require this service. In some instances delivery times can be longer due to circumstances beyond our control such as extreme weather, in these cases we ask that you allow for an extended delivery date.
Who Will Be Delivering my Parcel ?
All delivery time-scales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Small parcels may be delivered via Tracked Royal Mail. However, delivery may take up to 3-5 working days. Most parcels are sent via Ipostparcels - UK mail / Fed Ex which is a two to four day delivery service.
The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses. Delivery are typically between the hours of 9am and 5pm; we are unable to confirm a specific time. There are no deliveries on a weekend or on bank holidays.
Northern Equine Services will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way. Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Northern Equine Services shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.
Northern Equine Services shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control. In the unlikely event that your item does not arrive within the estimated delivery time please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number. Should you fail to report that your parcel has not arrived within this time and we have a signature of delivery from our courier we will be unable to claim for loss of the item and therefore unable to replace your goods.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance selling) regulations 2000, you can exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you but you must inform us in writing within 7 days of receipt, that you would like to return the goods. You will then be responsible for returning the UNSUSED AND UNOPENED goods within 7 Days of receipt at your own cost . Items deemed to have been used with not be refunded
If you have received a damaged product purchased from us then you need to notify us within 2-3 days from receipt of the goods. You then have 14 working days to return the item and we will provide a refund within 7 days.
If you want to return a product purchased from Northern Equine Services then you need to notify us within 2-3 days from receipt of the goods. You then have 14 working days to return the item and we will provide a refund with 14 days.
Used or opened items including Food, medicines vitamins and supplements cannot be returned. Custom orders and personalised items cannot be returned.The returned goods must be in its original state and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us (this is especially important in the case of faulty products). You will be required and are responsible for returning incorrectly ordered or unwanted product to us and you will need to arrange and pay for the return shipping to our office in Stanley. We highly recommend you use a registered postal service for this.
If the product is faulty or there is an issue with the product such as it is the wrong product sent or the item is mouldy - we need you to send us as photograph of the bag and the product inside - as we need to get photographic evidence to send to our suppliers / manufacturer for investigation. The product needs to be kept in its original packing so we can obtain the batch number and expiry dates also. Where possible we will try to replace the product ASAP.
If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this. Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge. This returns policy does not affect your legal rights.

Cancellation of Orders
You are able to cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. You can cancel an order by following the links on the Northern Equine Services website, by emailing us or by phoning / texting us on 07900431153.
All orders taken before 12pm will be processed and sent for delivery where possible by 2pm the same day.
If your order has been shipped we can cancel it minus the shipping fee and you will be credited the amount of the product or if the product has left the courier you will have to return the item to us for a refund.
