Low level light laser stimulates & optimises the body's natural healing process by using the controlled application of specific wavelengths of light, which has particular physiological effects.

When stimulated by Laser in this way wound healing is accelerated, thereby greatly enhances recovery from accidental or post-surgical tissue trauma, soft tissue injuries, torn tendons, scarring or fractures, as well as it being extremely effective in neutralising infection or where wounds are ‘non-healing’ by traditional methods.

On the whole animals respond quickly & positively. During any treatment they may be seen to chew, lick, sigh, yawn or stretch - all good signs. After treatment they may appear much calmer and ‘chilled’ .  It is best after treatment to have an easy day the day after and the horse pick the pace & level of work for 24 hours. Low Level Lasers can also be used on the day of competition unlike other pain killers and anti-inflammatories.

This is not a heat treatment, the effects are photochemical.
